Big Old Bears started off as a solo music project of David Craft, but then as friends started joining, the project evolved into a dedicated five piece collective. The young musicians combine traditional music with contemporary music to create a new sound with an old-timey feel. With an array of songwriters, raw harmonies and the use of many different instruments, Big Old Bears are sure to keep your foot tapping all night long!
2010 saw the release of their debut EP 'Tales Of You', which received positive reviews and was picked up by radio stations nationwide. After just coming back from playing a tour down south with The Waifs, the Bears have their sights set this year on recording an album, and the possibility of an Australian tour with some fellow Perth musicians. But for now they're content with working on new sounds and new songs to please the audiences of their hometown.

Lazy Railway Records is a Fremantle based label created in 2010 by a band of musicians to help promote their most recent work.
The name represents the laid back feel of the old railroads that stretch for over a century into the conception and birth of the Blues. The unmistakable sound and rhythms from the steaming locomotives have been etched into generations of songs right up to this day.
Understanding the feel and characteristics of the old-timey style along with modern interpretations on the genre, Lazy Railway Records endeavour to support budding artists who draw inspiration from the pre-war sounds
